Elections

Idaho has an "Open Primary" - that means that you do not have to state your party affiliation when you register to vote, but you do have to mark your affiliation within the privacy of the voting booth.

You will then vote only those ballot pages in the party that you have marked.  All voters are eligible to vote the non-partisan judicial ballot page.

There are three approved voting systems in Idaho; paper ballot, optic-scan, and punch card.  ClearwaterCounty uses the punch card voting system and an optic-scan voter assist terminal to assist the disabled community to provide more accessible voting.
