Building & Planning
Mission: Provide quality services with understanding of the required building codes and ordinances mandated by the state and adopted by the county along with a common sense of interpretation of these rules.
The Building and Planning Department coordinates day-to-day zoning and building code implementation, enforcement, and follow-on actions along with preparing and updating the ordinances that the department follows.
