Road & Bridge
1/18/18 9:00 AM. The Clearwater County Road and Bridge Department is currently working on a slide and potential washout of a portion of 106th Street in Orofino. Due to the current rain and a forecast of more rain it is unknown if they will be able to stop the slide. At this time the road is open to residents only.
Starting 1/18/18 load limits will be in effect on the Grangemont Road. With that, all roads in the Clearwater County Road Department's jurisdiction will have load limits until further notice.
Beginning Monday, January 15, 2018 there will be load limits on all Clearwater County roads except for Grangemont Road.
1/11/18 - Effective this morning load limits have been placed on Mason Butte Road and Three Bear Road. At this time, the only other road that has load limits posted is on Upper Fords Creek Road.
NOTICE UPDATE: Huckleberry MP .1 temporary road closure.
The begin date has been re-calculated to start on 11/13/17. Should work continue into the holiday… there will be a Thanksgiving shut down 11-22 thru 11-27 and the contractor will provide a safe one lane roadway.
Work in progress for a temporary fix on Huckleberry Butte Road at MP .3 to get thru winter. Full repair will need dry weather.
Completed Dent Bridge Road MP .6
Dent Bridge MP .6 is ready for payment.

Crews are continuing repair work on the Dent Bridge Road. Here are before and after pictures of the completed work at mp 1.1.
As of May 9, 2017 load limits have been lifted - with the exception of Upper Fords Creek Road from Edmonson down.
